Adapt, Adjust, and Overcome......

Adapt, Adjust,& Overcome has been our motto since we initially joined the FIRST Robotics family six years ago. But this isn't only our motto it is the way we operate, not letting anything stand in our way or keep us down.

Our Purpose

The purpose of our team is to teach students from all walks of life about team work, leadership and dedicaon. We all begin as individuals, and culminate as a team. We instill in our members gracious professionalism, communication, cooperation, pride, and respect. All of these atributes are inspired by F.I.R.S.T. We recognize that the changes we encounter in out robotic endeavors will assist us in the changes we may face in out lives. Thus in a six week period we not only build a robot but we rebild ourselves as strond, deticated, and responsible young men and women.

Our Community

During the past couple of years members of our team have gone to different schoolsaround the neighborhood, performing and demonstrating the actons of the robot. During presentations, the team speaks about F.I.R.S.T. what it stands for and what it entails. They discuss robotics and engineering as well as letting the student test drive the robot. The team also participates in the Aventura Mall expo to further encourage the community to support the teams in the area and the F.I.R.S.T. concepts.

Family Relations

As each day passes, the respect and the unity that our team members experience towards one another has escalated. It's gratifying to have the security that we are more than a team, but a close knit family, sharing thoughts, ideas, and feelings after a hard days work. It's no surprise to see coordinators, mentors, sponsors, team members, and parents sharing a meal thought the entire duration of the F.I.R.S.T. Robotics competition.
